The Tiwi Islands Regional Council reminds all community members that abuse of staff will not be tolerated.

During Wurrumiyanga garbage collection, we ask everyone to please treat our staff with respect as they work hard to keep our community clean and healthy.

Council staff are not authorised to enter private properties to collect rubbish. Residents are asked to place their household garbage outside the property fence for easy and safe collection.

Your cooperation helps our rubbish team work safely and efficiently. Together, we can keep our community tidy, respectful, and strong.
