As per the Notice in the NT News on Friday 5 June 2026, the Draft Regional Plan and Budget 2026–2027 has now been uploaded to Council’s website.

At the Special Council Meeting held on 4 June 2026, Tiwi Islands Regional Council formally approved the Draft Regional Plan and Budget 2026–2027 (the Plan), and resolved to commence the 21-Day Public Consultation period in accordance with Section 35(3) of the Local Government Act 2019.

Public Consultation is now open and will close on 26 June 2026.
