We’re excited to invite the community to a consultation session and BBQ in Wurrumiyanga to help shape the future of sport and recreation on the Tiwi Islands.

The Sport & Recreation Masterplan is about creating a new, modern facility that will support a wide range of activities, programs, and community events. This will be a space for everyone – young people, families, elders, and sports groups – to enjoy and connect.

At this session, the GHD team will present their designs for the proposed facility and gather feedback from community members and stakeholders. Your input will help ensure the new Sport & Rec Centre truly reflects local needs and priorities.

A BBQ will be provided, so come along, enjoy some food, and share your ideas for this exciting project.
