Tiwi Islands Regional Council is proud to officially welcome Ms Heidi Dorn as Chief Executive Officer, commencing today, Monday 25 May 2026.

Following a recruitment process facilitated by LG Services Group and supported by a Council recruitment panel, Council formally endorsed Heidi’s appointment at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on Tuesday 19 May 2026.

Many staff and community members already know Heidi through her time with TIRC and while acting in the CEO role. Heidi has demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to Council, our staff and the Tiwi Islands communities, and Council is looking forward to continuing to work together under her leadership in this new role.

Mayor Lynette De Santis thanked everyone involved in the recruitment process and acknowledged the support provided by LG Services Group and the Councillors who participated on the recruitment panel.
