Grants and Projects Support Officer

Are you an experienced administrator with experience in grant applications, project coordination, and purchase orders?  Do you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same?  Are you agile and able to multitask?  Are you looking for an opportunity to support an Indigenous Community? If so, the Tiwi Islands Regional Council could be what you are looking for!

This is a fixed-term (6-months - possible extension) full-time position that can be based in Darwin.  The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly to the Tiwi Islands.

 Requirements:

  • Demonstrated qualifications or extensive experience in office administration or equivalent
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial systems and procedures
  • Proven experience in the use of MS Office, particularly MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook. 
  • Experience working in a project management environment
  • Willing to travel between Darwin and the Tiwi Islands regularly

SALARY

Salary will be $63,000- $80,000 per annum based on 38 hours per week (negotiated based on qualifications and experience)
